A few days ago, Meta jumped on the AI bandwagon with LLaMA , which is focused on research. Zuckerberg is back on the charge and a few hours ago published a post on Facebook announcing that he wants to develop “AI People .” A set of machine learning techniques that allow computers to generate text, draw images, and create other media that resemble human production.
The goal is to bring together many teams working on generative AI across the company and create a single group that focuses on creating delightful experiences around the technology in the company’s products. The new group will be organized under current Chief Product Officer Chris Cox.
“We’re exploring experiences with text (like chat on WhatsApp and Messenger ), with images (like Instagram’s creative filters and ad formats), and with video and multimodal experiences . We have a lot of groundwork to do before we get to kuwait number screening the truly futuristic experiences, but I’m excited about all the new things we’ll be building along the way.”
Meta will implement artificial intelligence in WhatsApp and Messenger
The company is starting with text-based AI tools on WhatsApp and Messenger, presumably ChatGPT- style conversational bots , Techcrunch reports.
As for how long it will take to implement this into their products, the entrepreneur says that in the short term, they will focus on creating creative and expressive tools . In the long term , their goal will be to develop AI people who can help people in a variety of ways.
Other companies experimenting with AI include Microsoft and Google. Microsoft has built a language model created by OpenAI into a Bing chatbot . While Google is working on a chatbot called Bard .
Meanwhile, Meta, whose CEO said just a few weeks ago that he wanted to be a “leader in generative AI,” has unveiled its own artificial intelligence model: LLaMA (Large Language Model Meta AI). Meta ’s language model is available under a non-commercial license focused on its use in research.
