WordPress makes it possible for everyone to learn

Post by pappu9265 »

So, I am busy helping these cats and also learning how to raise funds through a website. I am learning how to use online forms, set up payment systems, work on SEO, and other new things I need to learn to grow my initiative. I have the privilege of learning directly from my personal guru. The same man who convinced me to volunteer at WordCamp Denpasar and who I married in 2018.

Devin enjoys being involved in the WordPress community, so she was happy to be featured in a series of videos that concluded Translation Day 2021.

In this short video, Devin talks about translations (opens in a new tab on YouTube).

She is also actively involved in other WordPress Community teams and has decided to become a Community Team Deputy to support meetups in new cities in Indonesia and possibly future WordCamp events.

She says: "What I like about WordPress is that it's very phone number library welcoming and open to people like me who don't write code at all. At the same time, it gives me a new way of looking at the world."

Devin believes in the power of WordPress, which gives “everyone a chance to learn something new” and allows her to contribute and share her knowledge and experience. “By contributing, I hope to make a difference in someone’s life. I hope they feel the benefit of using WordPress and want to contribute to create a healthier WordPress community.”On December 14, 2021, WordPress co-founder Matt Mullenweg held his annual keynote. The event took place in New York City with a small audience (proof of vaccination was required). According to Matt, there were both those “who traveled by plane, train, and car” and those (virtually) watching the live stream online, from home, work, or elsewhere. In eleven countries, more than 300 viewers were able to watch the talk online at 26 locations set up by the organizers.

Matt's talk was a significant event for the WordPress community, as was the first in-person WordCamp in Seville , Spain, in a long time.

You can watch the performance (with Russian subtitles) on WordPress.TV .
