The sun has been shining for quite some time now, you can wave goodbye to a colleague every week and customers are ringing the bell less often. The holiday period is really starting now. And although that summer peace is often exaggerated (after all: doing roughly the same work with fewer people doesn't make it much quieter), this is still a good moment to take a step back and look at the bigger picture. Choose a moment when you leave the execution for what it is, and look at your social media channels with a more tactical eye. There are undoubtedly components that could use a refresh. No sensational tips, but good to pay attention to again!

First, take a look at your strategy or annual plan. Whether you have a whole plan for one channel b2b email list or if social media is a chapter in your marketing plan: the idea is the same. What were your plans for this year? Where are you now? What do you still need to put extra energy into? Or have there been new insights in the meantime, which means that certain points from the plan are no longer relevant?

Once you have drawn up action points based on your plan, it is a good idea to take a fresh look at your channels.

Does your company page still have the standard background photo from LinkedIn? High time to change that. In this article you can read what the ideal format is and what else you should pay attention to.
