The innovation that Microsoft has used with this new OS has generated good expectations in the sector and the company has registered initial sales success. In fact, in the bc data brazil first weekend they managed to sell 40 million licences, a number that far exceeded the number obtained by Windows 7 in the same period.
However, after this period it seemed that Windows 8 had stagnated and had lower market share data than those collected for Windows Vista, the company's most criticized software. This trend has improved thanks to the Christmas season and there are already 1,700 systems certified for Windows 8 and Windows RT.
