BlogTrips as a marketing action to promote tourist destinations or services

Post by asimd17 »

A new trend has been emerging in recent years within tourism marketing and is associated with social media and more specifically with blogs and influencers .

In all that concerns the various possibilities in this regard, entrepreneurs in the tourism sector encounter great problems when developing blogtrips as a marketing action, mainly due to the lack of knowledge of which influencers or opinion leaders will give the blogtrip sufficient repercussion and with whom they will achieve their objectives.

We all know of cases of failed blog trips in Spain where people who had little influence but who came highly recommended were invited. Blog trips are a promotional tool and zalo data as such must be aimed at the profiles and the intermediate target audience we intend to address, leaving aside recommended people, friends, partners and fillers who do nothing but increase costs.

Applying blogtrips to travel promotion

Adapting the old model of a famtrip or traditional press trip with people who have a blog, turning it into a trip for bloggers is what we could call a blogtrip.

These bloggers will then publish their travel experiences on their corresponding blogs, social networks, etc., thus opening up an infinite field of possibilities and promotion of destinations to a multitude of potential clients and travelers, which will provide benefits in the short or medium term.

Coverage by invited bloggers or media will take place before, during and after the event , thus achieving 2-3 weeks of coverage for an event that lasts an average of 3 to 5 days.
