Hugo was at home on a Sunday afternoon and remembered that in just ten minutes a football match was about to start, in which his favourite team was playing. The match was not being broadcast on any free-to-air television channel, so he decided to try to watch it on the Internet.

He grabbed his laptop and sat down on the couch. Hugo knew that you could watch games online, although he didn't have much of an idea, so he opened his browser and started searching for the names of the teams germany phone number data that were going to play. When he finished entering them, he noticed that in the drop-down list of "related searches", in first place there was a result that ended with the word " online ", so he selected it.

Hugo did not know the pages resulting from the search, but nevertheless, he accessed the first one listed since he understood that if it was the first search result, it would be because it was the best rated.

When I accessed the page, a series of links to watch the match were displayed, followed by a bar referring to the image quality. When I saw that there was one in HD and the quality bar was full, I selected it. A new page opened where I could see advertising everywhere and right in the center a frame similar to that of the YouTube videos but with the logo of the competition that the teams were playing at that moment and a " play " symbol just above it.

Hugo assumed that he had to click on the “ play ” symbol to watch the game. When he clicked on it, a new page opened where he could see a football field in the middle of the game and another “ play ” symbol.

The match had already started, so he had no doubts and clicked on the symbol again, but this time the box where he was supposed to watch the match, the playback window went black and the browser showed an alert that said:

Fake Flash Player Update Notice

Hugo was already starting to get a bit annoyed because he had heard from the radio that his team was losing and on top of that he had to update his Flash version, which meant he would not be able to watch the game for a while. He clicked on the update button and was redirected to a page like the one below.
