The keywords that seem relevant to your business

Remember that it should not be limited to keywords directly related to your product, but should also include more generic topics that can catch your audience’s attention and allow you to gain visibility.

For example, if your business is a hair salon booking management software, you won’t just want to search for keywords like “booking management tool” or “hair salon booking system.” You’ll also special database want to include “how to open a hair salon,” “increase hair salon sales,” etc., so you can build your industry-level expertise and create brand awareness among your target audience.

Spoiler alert: This exercise is going to get boring…
This exercise is fun at first BUT it quickly becomes tedious. You have to be patient and let go of laziness. This step is SUPER important and remember that it will guide your marketing strategy for the following months, specifically when it comes to SEO content . So it is worth those few hours (~10 hours) you will spend on it. Once you are done, export your keywords into an Excel spreadsheet.
