It is no secret that Threads collects highly sensitive data, such as health data, financial data, and browsing history, among others, and is in complete disagreement with European regulations. However, in the countries where it was officially released, Threads has achieved a fair amount of success, surpassing 100 million subscribers in a few hours. The European Commission recently adopted its adequacy decision use a bulk sms service to compile your list for the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. The conclusion reached is that the United States provides a comparable level of protection to the European Union and is therefore safe in collecting personal data from users. In practice? Personal data can flow safely from the EU to companies in the United States (operating under the Data Privacy Framework) without having to implement additional security measures.

Bottom line: Last year, the data protection regulator said that data transfer to the US through the use of Google Universal Analytics violated the GDPR. With this new EU-US Data Privacy Framework, data transfer between the EU and the US should no longer be a problem .

Indeed, the data privacy framework introduces new safeguards that address the concerns of the European Court of Justice, and US companies will be able to join the Data Privacy Framework by committing to a detailed set of privacy obligations.
