Artificial intelligence will replace more than half of employees in large US companies

According to a recent study jointly conducted by Duke University and the Federal Reserve Banks of Atlanta and Richmond, more than 60% of large U.S. corporations plan to implement artificial intelligence technologies in the next 12 months to automate work processes that were previously performed by company employees. This trend reflects the growing demand from businesses to streamline operations, reduce costs and improve efficiency.

Artificial intelligence is already being used extensively in various industries, such as customer service, marketing, and human resources. Despite the obvious advantages of introducing artificial intelligence, there are concerns about its impact on the labor market. Some experts believe that its mass introduction could lead to job losses and increased unemployment. However, in the short term, experts believe that artificial intelligence will not affect the labor market, particularly in the United States. Company leaders are using it to fill some gaps, at worst refusing to hire new employees who could get a job without artificial intelligence, but there have been no mass layoffs of existing employees yet.
