For several years, Brandenburg's classic bowling sport has seen continuous, high-quality development. In recent months, the state association was even close to sending a young Brandenburg player to the World Championships.
This trend is set to continue. On February 20, 2016, the district associations of the state of Brandenburg gave the officials, who have been in office for over ten years, an overwhelming vote to continue their work. With only one photo editing services abstention, the members of the Brandenburg Sports Bowling Association voted in favor of the path to be taken by the current officials.
The re-elected Vice President Classic, Jens Lehmann, made it clear that he, together with the district associations, is taking on the challenge of training and developing top performers for German classic bowling. Lehmann emphasized: "Together with the Brandenburg State Sports Association, we have the opportunity to develop young people, women, and men, into successful classic bowlers on a world scale. The next steps in the state classic bowling competition will also be developed and continued by the newly confirmed officials. A possible merger of the Berlin and Brandenburg competitions is on the agenda. Demographic trends are also not going anywhere for bowling in Berlin and Brandenburg."
