For the record, you should know that, in fact, the entire first part of the film, about , serves no purpose in the plot. They just added it to ensure they'd fall flat in the first few minutes. Hats off to you, kids, what talent. But let's move on, shall we?

Because, yes, the aliens fire missiles. It's quite disappointing I must say, I expected them to send ionized shblürg or schmülülü particles, but no, obviously, they get their supplies from the merchant, like everyone else. Whatever.
The whole squad, a little panicked, jumps ashore and ends up on the beach, where it's a massacre: the enemy, who shouldn't have been there in the shots and shouldn't even have known that the humans were coming, sprays the entire beach from afar and it's a bit of a massacre. The men are massacred, the burning helicopters crash into the survivors, and Billou only owes his survival to a lot of luck. The enemy being made up of large tentacled beasts (tentacles? No weapons? But then, where did the missiles in the previous scene come from? They must be magic projectiles), needless to say, everyone gets badly tentacled, to the point that even a Japanese schoolgirl might be jealous. In a corner of the beach, Billou surprises Rita Popolski, the legendary "Angel of Verdun," who is crushed by an Allied plane that crashes on the beach.
