For the record, you should know that, in fact, the entire first part of the film, about , serves no purpose in the plot. They just added it to ensure they'd fall flat in the first few minutes. Hats off to you, kids, what talent. But let's move on, shall we?

Cage is therefore taken despite his protests to J squad, composed of a few not very clever soldiers, and with whom our hero will more or less train (and learn a certain number of hilarious jokes, no doubt about it) until the invasion the next day where for the first time in his life, he is slipped into one of the famous super combat armors. Obviously, no one wants to tell him where the safety is on his weapon, so our hero finds himself unable to know how to fire the slightest shot while he is about to go into battle, hahaha, hoohoo, what a joke, guys. No matter: he is loaded into one of the big helicopters in the area and with thousands of others, heading for thegastronomic civilizationFrance!

In the machine, we make lots of jokes (I asked Diego to plaster my ribs because telegram data they were so funny, then to plaster the dialogist's face) until the moment when, shortly before the jump, the machine gets hit by a missile. Because, yes, the aliens fire missiles. It's quite disappointing I must say, I expected them to send ionized shblürg or schmülülü particles, but no, obviously, they get their supplies from the merchant, like everyone else. Whatever.

The whole squad, a little panicked, jumps ashore and ends up on the beach, where it's a massacre: the enemy, who shouldn't have been there in the shots and shouldn't even have known that the humans were coming, sprays the entire beach from afar and it's a bit of a massacre. The men are massacred, the burning helicopters crash into the survivors, and Billou only owes his survival to a lot of luck. The enemy being made up of large tentacled beasts (tentacles? No weapons? But then, where did the missiles in the previous scene come from? They must be magic projectiles), needless to say, everyone gets badly tentacled, to the point that even a Japanese schoolgirl might be jealous. In a corner of the beach, Billou surprises Rita Popolski, the legendary "Angel of Verdun," who is crushed by an Allied plane that crashes on the beach.
