In June 2018, the app was published in the Apple Store and Google Play. The company soon raised $2.5 million in funding, and in early 2019, David announced that he was stepping down from his position at Google to focus entirely on further development of Medcorder.
What We Learned About Flutter: Complexity
The Evrone team started working on Medcorder when Flutter was still in its early stages, which was a big risk. As we mint database were refining the app, Google was working on the framework. So we faced some challenges in keeping the tooling up to date.
At the end of 2018, the Release Candidate of the framework took place, which became another test. Updating to new versions of Flutter was not easy. It helped that our team has extensive experience in developing native applications, knowledge of CocoaPods and Grade.
