At 32 and in a long-term relationship, I rarely get a quiet night alone, and on those rare occasions, I usually order takeout. To be honest, cooking for one isn't much fun.

Inevitably, the person who will deliver the pizza will knock on the door. Every time, without fail, I will look through the peephole to see who is on the other side of the door (even though I already know that I am waiting for the pizza to arrive). I always take advantage of this opportunity, since my girlfriend is lactose intolerant and this is the only situation in which I can eat the dish.

In short, the ISP can trust that your emails are genuine and not fraudulently sent in your name, which is a common trick of spammers. SPF is an email validation system that blocks spam in the form of spoofing. Spoofers commit email fraud by sending emails from what appear to be trusted addresses in order to obtain sensitive information.

If you follow email marketing best practices, your good reputation and verified identity should be enough for the ISP to know that your emails are not spam and therefore, they will be delivered.
