Activate the DKIM and SPF protocols as a way to verify the authenticity of your shipments to your recipients' Internet Service Providers (ISPs) and email clients.
Make sure your bounce, unsubscribe and complaint rates aren't too high .
Avoid using certain words that trigger anti-spam filters : offer, free, discount, urgent, etc.
Don't overuse images .

If you don't pay attention to these details, your domain's reputation can suffer and you can end up on blacklists that condemn your emails to the spam folder.

5. Emails don't attract attention and don't stand out in the inbox
The email is already in the inbox, now what? In reality, if the recipient doesn't open the email, it won't matter whether you sent a disastrous email or a spectacular one with an attractive, well-s chad email list tructured design and useful and valuable messages.

Think of the 300 billion+ emails we talked about at the beginning of this article. With that volume of emails, you have very little time to convince the recipient and stand out in their inbox .

There are a few factors that have a direct influence on email open rates , mainly:

Sender . Avoid sending from impersonal email addresses like “noreply.” Whether it’s addressed to someone at your company or displays your brand name, open rates will be better if the recipient is familiar with the sender.
Subject . The optimal size should not exceed 41-50 characters, to ensure that it is fully visible on mobile devices as well. Take a few minutes to put yourself in your recipient's shoes and think about whether your subject will attract their attention. Consider, based on your target audience, whether it is advisable to use (not overuse) emoticons.

Preview text . We are talking about the small text that can be seen below or below the subject before opening the email. Whether it is indicated directly with HTML code or defined from an email marketing platform (there are many that allow you to add it as another field), pay attention to those first preview lines, intended to provide context, attract the user's interest and make it clearer what they will find if they open the email.
