When and how was the company "Biksis" formed? What services do you provide?

"Biksis" was founded in 2007, we "grew" from a small company selling computer uruguay phone number library components. Since the marginality of the distribution business has significantly decreased, the company's owners decided to shift the focus to IT services.

The two main areas of activity of "Biksis" are IT outsourcing and IT outstaffing. The main profile of our clients is customers from the medium and small business segment (up to 60 work places). IT processes occurring in the company require a certain competence and the appropriate level of management. Most often, small companies find it difficult to achieve this, since much attention is paid to achieving key indicators that generate profit. IT outsourcing allows you to increase the efficiency and quality of IT tasks. We have managed to build a well-established mechanism: absolutely transparent and mutually understandable relationships with customers.

We did not grow organically, buying up IT players on the market (M&A deals). At the moment, the company employs 7 people.

What are the main trends in the systems and IT integration market in Russia?

The emergence of cloud solutions such as SaaS and PaaS has significantly changed the system integration market both in Russia and worldwide. The largest vendors now provide “everything as a service,” and in order not to increase the number of employees in Russian representative offices, they attract local players. Local integrators, as a rule, have sufficient expertise and also understand the specifics of the Russian business mentality.

The system integration market is very dynamic and always growing. There is an “optimization” of IT specialists: new tasks and requirements for the profession constantly appear. At the same time, the market is highly competitive and it is difficult to work in it.

The most important quality of an IT outsourcer is to "work ahead of the curve", that is, to predict in advance any failure in the client's IT infrastructure - to prevent it. In IT language, this is called "proactive protection" and is technically implemented using special monitoring systems. For example, we use a monitoring system developed in Russia.

How is the communication system structured in your company?

The main communication channel at Biksis is telephony. Because if something breaks or works incorrectly for our client, he immediately calls us. The second, non-priority communication channel is e-mail.

Before becoming a regular customer of MCN Telecom, we had our own PBX in the office. It was quite flexible in settings and had even more versatility than modern cloud systems. However, we had to abandon it and switch to a cloud PBX, sacrificing some functionality.

This happened because power outages in our office became more frequent, and they began to happen spontaneously and completely unpredictably. Even uninterruptible power supplies could not save the situation. Moving to another office was also not possible, since we chose this building with the expectation that the road to the office would take no more than 20 minutes for each employee.
