SeedProd Themes Just Got a Speed Boost: Enjoy Faster Imports

At SeedProd, we listen to your feedback. You told us you love our template kits but want faster imports. We know waiting for templates to load is a major roadblock when creating a website.
Since speed is one of our top priorities, we’re excited to announce we’ve made significant speed improvements to our theme imports, making website creation even faster and easier.
First, let’s look at how our previous template imports worked.
Why Did Importing Templates Take Time?
In the past, when you imported a template kit, all the image files loaded directly from our servers.
This process could take a while, especially if you have a slower Bahrain Phone Numbers internet connection or are importing a kit with many large images, such as those in our WooCommerce site kits.
Here’s an example of how this looked in practice:

We understand how frustrating it is to have this delay in your website launch. It makes it difficult to test different designs quickly or causes you to miss important deadlines.
We also know this isn’t ideal for our users, so we set out to find a better way.
How We Made Importing Faster
To solve this, we’ve introduced a Content Delivery Network (CDN). It’s like a network of servers spread across the globe, each storing copies of your website’s images.
When you import a template kit, the images now come from the CDN server closest to you. This means you no longer have to wait for images to download slowly from a distant server. Your site is also protected from outages and attacks, as there are multiple servers to handle the load.
Here’s how importing the same theme from the previous example looks now:

As you can see, the import is almost instant!

Hey can you add a comment box feature similar to this one to the seedprod platform? Maybe with different options and layouts and color schemes?

Hi Chris, thank you for the suggestion. We do have a “Post Comments” block in our Template Tags where you can change the background style, color, image, border, and spacing. Here is an example of where to find it.
