Hello.
I'm Mizushima, a designer.
It's been about six months since I joined UNTYPE as a new graduate designer in April.
During my student days, I majored in graphic design at the Faculty of Design, and
studied a wide range of design genres, from digital to analog media.
I'd like to share with you what I felt while actually working at UNTYPE.

lastly
As a team, not as an individual
Since joining the company, I have developed a strong sense of teamwork.
During my university days, I did a lot of individual work, often working silently at my own pace.
However, in web production, division of labor has become mainstream.
Projects must be advanced while maintaining belgium b2b leads close communication not only with the design team, but also with directors and engineers.
At first, I was nervous about speaking to people because I wasn't used to the division of labor, but everyone is so kind that I can work with ease.
I think Untype is an easy environment to fit in even for people who haven't had much experience in team production before.

Work with care down to the last detail
When working on a project, I learned the importance of paying attention to even the smallest details.
One time I made a button for a web page and showed it to a senior colleague, who told me, "I think it would look nice if you widened the left and right margins by 1 to 2px," which surprised me. In order to maintain the quality of the untyped
design, careful attention to detail down to the pixel level is necessary.
I learned that just being "kind of pretty" is not enough, and now I try to design with attention to detail.

Use shortcut keys
I often use "Photoshop" and "XD" in my daily work.
I've been using Adobe software since I was a student, so I thought I would have no problem with the basic operations, but I was worried when I saw my seniors using functions I didn't know right in front of me.
I didn't pay much attention to efficiency in the university productions, so since joining the company, I have become especially conscious of shortcut keys.
At first, I couldn't remember them at all, so I wrote down a list of the shortcut keys I use frequently in a notepad so that I could see them at any time. If you forget them, look them up and repeat the process of working, and you will naturally pick them up, so it might be a good idea to be conscious of using shortcut keys from an early age!
An environment where you can use what you like
I've always loved drawing illustrations, and in my portfolio during my job search, I included illustrations in addition to my design work. I
told my senior about this, and one day he asked me if I would like to try drawing illustrations for a web page. I was a little nervous at first because I had just joined the company, but since it was a rare opportunity, I took on the challenge and was able to complete it successfully. I think one of the
great things about UNTYPE is that it provides an environment where even new graduates can utilize their strengths in this way.
lastly
Over the past six months, I have become aware of many things that I never thought about when I was a student. I
am able to feel my own growth through my daily work, which is very enjoyable. I
hope this will be helpful for those who are considering joining UNTYPE.
◆We are recruiting all year round.
We would be delighted to meet someone who shares our vision and philosophy.
