Burger King draws inspiration from general elections for marketing

Post by sakib30 »

Burger King has shown that it knows how to take advantage of the social context to do real-time marketing . On this occasion, it is using the conversation about the upcoming general elections on Sunday, November 10, to present an advertisement based on it.

The (Burger King) Elections Are Back
The spot, created by the creative agency La Despensa , draws a parallel between the choices that different political leaders must make to form a government and the choices that consumers must make when choosing a Burger King menu.

The brand uses humor to reduce tension in the political situation
The storytelling is presented through a family scene gathered dominican republic number screening around a table at mealtime. The characters begin a conversation that revolves around their preferences regarding political parties and possible pacts. They try to convince each other of the possible options by making an ironic comparison between the brand's products and the political situation.

With this campaign, Burger King aims to promote its new promotion “2 Complete Menus for 7 Euros”, which will be available in Spain until December 2.
