After 6 years of innovation in the online invoicing sector, Billin sees its efforts recognised with the support of TeamSystem , the Italian giant of technological solutions for freelancers and professionals, which in turn is owned by Hellman & Friedman, one of the largest private equity funds in the United States.
The Italian company, with a turnover of close to 500 million euros, becomes a shareholder in Billin, acquiring 59.6% and with the possibility of buying 100% in the coming years. This operation offers the Spanish number data technology company additional financing that will be dedicated, mainly, to fulfilling its vision: helping self-employed workers and SMEs to be more efficient and economically sustainable.

Today we are adding an important piece to our broader strategy, which aims to implement a range of high-tech products to support the digital transformation of SMEs and professionals abroad as well. We believe that, in a market like Spain, which has been characterised by 3.5% growth over the last 7 years, the know-how acquired in Italy will be valuable and will contribute to the creation of cross-synergies that will not only benefit our stakeholders, but also the business fabric of both countries.”
