The Corona beer brand , owned by the Anheuser-Busch In Bev group , has gone a step further in creating experiences in the food and beverage sector. The company has rented an island in the Caribbean, off the Colombian coast, with the aim of offering unique holiday experiences as part of its sustainability strategy , use of natural ingredients and processes that respect the environment. Under the name Corona Island, the space will begin operating from spring 2022.
“ This is a paradise in the middle of the Caribbean, where armenia number screening architecture merges with the natural setting. Dream of a place where you can enjoy unique experiences that connect you with nature ,” Corona explains. “ An island where you can be part of the rhythm of nature, learn about what comes from the sea and the sun. Here, you will see the most impressive sunsets and celebrate it Corona style .”
Understood as a direct extension of the brand experience, Corona Island aims to offer consumers the opportunity to disconnect from everyday stress with stays focused on conscious consumption and sustainable style. Guests will be able to enjoy workshops on plastic-free living, guided meditations, or visits to the island's local plantations that supply the brand with ingredients for the manufacture of its drink.
However, the number of guests will be limited as part of Corona's desire to ensure a minimal environmental footprint. That is why the brand has established two methods of access. The first was through a global auction held on November 30 (Giving Tuesday) and organized through the CharityBuzz platform. The winner and nine guests will be able to come to the island for a one-week stay with all expenses paid.
