The Teatro Real premieres the opera in the metaverse

The metaverse continues to arouse sensations, these digital universes merge physical and digital reality and allow for the creation of immersive experiences. Now, this technology is positioning itself as a promoter of culture through a new initiative by the Teatro Real . This will become the first opera house in the world to present a live opera in the metaverse, with the broadcast of «La nariz».

Next Friday, March 17, at 7:30 p.m. in Spain , users will be able to enjoy a performance of composer Dmitri Shostakovich 's work , "The Nose," from the Main Hall of the Madrid Coliseum . This production can be enjoyed , free of charge, from the digital universe of Uttopion , the first metaverse created in Spain.
