Onedotzero is one of the world's largest digital film festivals, which has been touring not only in the UK but also around the world since its first festival in London in 1996. The 2006 festival marked the 10th anniversary in the UK, and is finally coming to Japan. As it was the 10th anniversary, the staff in London were extremely busy, so the festival was postponed to Tokyo, but it was specially arranged to be held in Sapporo. Don't miss this program, which can only be seen in Sapporo in Japan.
A wide range of digitally produced video works, including short films, music videos, animations, etc., will be on display. Which of the themes, such as music videos, short films, characters, architecture/environment, etc., will you choose?
One.0.0's content is not limited to film screenings. This time, there are two presentations. The first will feature Shane Walter, director of One.0.0, and will examine the 10-year history of digital video. The second will be "How LOVE ON TV is Made." The production clipping path service staff of the late-night information program "LOVE ON TV" produced by HBC will reveal the behind-the-scenes of the new TV video production site, from how the content is collected to how it is edited.
The appeal of ICA (Institute of Contemporary Arts), the venue for One.Zero in London, is that you can experience film screenings and live performances in the same place, and there is also an atmosphere where creators always gather in spaces such as the bar inside the building. One.Zero has incorporated functions as a place for such communication, and in order to fully experience that atmosphere, the main venue for this Sapporo event will be Agura Furniture (Kita 1 Nishi 10, Chuo-ku). Please enjoy the opportunity to casually interact with creators and the comfortable space.
