What are online catalogs?
A WWW catalog, or rather its creation, consists of adding a link to a page subjected to the positioning process in the so-called Internet catalog. A website catalog is an Internet service that is a thematically grouped collection of URL addresses. They end up in the catalog thanks to Internet users who report a website (usually with a short description and contact details).

What types of directories are there?
General-topic directory – usually has many different categories. Generally-topic directories are less moderated and more prone to spam.
Thematic/industry directory of websites – a directory focused on a specific industry or subject is usually more moderated. At the same time, adding an entry to such a directory is more often paid (but this is not the rule).
Catalog of company websites – in company catalogs you can expect additional items regarding the industry and typical company data, such as NIP, REGON, legal form of business, share capital, etc.
