Throughout January, we will be accepting your requests for updating the News module. Then, depending on the total number of requests and the complexity of implementing the most interesting ones, we will determine a reasonable time frame in which we will try to bring them to release.
If such a model takes root, we will take it on a permanent basis and announce a system module, which our team will modernize in the future, in order to receive a fresh and up-to-date wish list for updates to this module in advance.

If the ideas are accepted, I would like to draw your attention to the Survey module, which has not changed visually for the last 10 years. Yes, it is an insignificant module, but web standards have changed a lot during this time. I would like to visually update it, and add more settings, the ability to put covers on the background, and just make it closer to the ideals of surveys already in 2019, because there was a repeated desire to attach a survey to the site, but it looks, frankly speaking, like a friend from the past.

I will insert my long-standing wishes regarding the development of the News module in the uCoz system:
— The ability to include materials in several categories
— Filters for news (including by additional fields) as in the File Catalog module.
— Make a separate template for the section/category page.
— Add the $CAT_DESCR$ field to the “Material and Comments Page” and “Material Type” templates. If new templates for section and category pages are added, then along with $CAT_DESCR$ make $SECTION_DESCR$ for such templates.
— Add sections to the News module
What can be done for news and then distributed to other modules:
— Multiple image uploads and changing their order in the material
— The ability to edit the material template for RSS Turbo for Yandex. Changing Title and turbo:content. The ability to use the contents of additional fields and your own code in material templates.

Category page template, great idea, it would be a good idea to implement it for both news and blog. It would be great to implement a material and comments page template for the FAQ module, as a result the module would become more functional. It would be great to add support for the Cat_Descr operator to the archive page template for the news and blog modules if you do not create a category page template.
