What is the profile of Voximplant? Tell us about your flagship product.

Voximplant, like MCN Telecom, provides cloud telephony services. Are you competitors?

First of all, we sell a platform with which you can develop and improve communication services and applications whose numbers the client will connect - this is the second question.

One of the latest "cubes" of our platform is the Dialogflow connector, on the basis of which you can assemble an intelligent IVR capable of supporting a "live" conversation through speech recognition and synthesis. I doubt that there are companies on the domestic market that make more complex products than we do from a technological point of view.

How is the telecommunications infrastructure built in the company?

We have our own communication nodes in five cities in Russia, and we plan to put new nodes into operation in three more by the end of this year. We were forced to build our own infrastructure, because not all operators are ready to provide service at the level of the SLA that we require.

What products from MCN Telecom do you use?

We use international telephony and buy number capacity. Flexible approach and excellent quality of communication provided by MCN Telecom, encourages us to remain the company's clients for the fifth year in a row.

Are there any services or products that you think are worth adding to MCN Telecom's portfolio?

In terms of Voximplant, we are satisfied with the current service provided by MCN Telecom. In terms of the market as a whole, integrations with popular CRM systems, which are often asked about by clients outside the telecom sector, may be in demand.

How do you see the further development of the SaaS and virtual architecture market?

The market is confidently moving towards robotization and the use of artificial intelligence. Companies are looking for and trying out options for automating “routine processes.” We handle over 25 million calls every month, most of which are automated notifications, such as flight cancellations or loan arrears. People delegate “black” work to robots, freeing up space for creative and more complex tasks that require a person.

Some market participants fear that robots could eventually replace employees, leaving millions of people without work. Is such a development scenario realistic?

I don't think we are facing a scenario of total "unemployment". Gutenberg's printing press did not "take away" people's jobs, just like washing machines or, for example, coffee makers. Technologies automate simple tasks, freeing up time for more complex issues - art, education, communication with family, space flights. Doctors, journalists, psychologists, managers cannot be replaced by robots, since their activities poorly fit into algorithms and the price of an error can be very high. But all these people can and should be helped: make an appointment, remind about a meeting, type a text from dictation, automatically gather all conference participants for a call - this is why we are working on our platform.
