In this article, we will tell you in detail how the publication of a scientific article in the magazine "Young Scientist" takes place. Without hiding anything, we will show the entire process - from sending the article to the editors and ending with receiving a parcel with a glossy printed copy of the magazine.
0. Write an article
Yes, yes, you got it right — to publish an article, you need to write it. We've written a lot about this on the blog. If your article isn't ready yet, start with these helpful posts:

1. Prepare a file with the article
Briefly
Font Times New Roman, 14 pt One and a half
spacing Margins
: top and bottom - 2 cm,
left - 3 cm, right - 1.5 cm
The article is written - you need to format the file. There is nothing complicated here. Just format your file in Word.
Here you can see the design rules in a slightly more detailed version:
Rules for formatting articles
There is a sample there too.
In fact, we at "Young Scientist" are quite flexible about the rules of formatting. If the bottom margin in your file is not two, but two and a half millimeters - we will easily correct everything ourselves.
Therefore, use the design rules as a way to estimate the number of pages. After all, when calculating the cost of publication, we count pages designed according to the rules.
2. Submit an article
Here you have two options. If you prefer old school, you can send the article by e-mail. If you are a technocrat, fill out a convenient form on the site.
2a. Traditional option (by email)
The editorial office's e-mail address is [email protected] . This is our only address. Here you can send articles for publication in the magazine "Young Scientist" , articles for thematic magazines , materials for participation in correspondence scientific conferences . You can ask any question or just write us something nice.
Please attach two files to the letter.
The first file is your article.
The second file is information about the author.
The author information must include:
Last name, first name and patronymic of the author (in full)
Academic degree, title
Position (for example: associate professor, senior lecturer, methodologist, etc.) or status (for example: student, master's student, postgraduate student)
Place of work or study
Email address
Do you need a printed copy of your article (please specify quantity)
Postal address (don't forget the postcode!)
Preferred section of the magazine
If an article has several co-authors, you can enter information about everyone in one file or attach several separate files, as you prefer.
2b. Convenient option (on the website)
We have developed an effective form that will help you send an article for publication. Registration on the site and sending an article will take you only 2-3 minutes.

3. Review of the article
In fact, this is where your part of the job ends - and the publishing house's work begins.
First of all, your article must be checked by a reviewer. This takes 3-4 days, no more. We monitor the quality of the articles that we publish in the journal. If you send an article today, the review result will be on January 8 (or even earlier).
Many people ask what exactly is checked and for what reasons an article may be rejected.
Here are the reasons we most often reject articles:
Plagiarism. Borrowing without citing the source is bad , don't do it. Cite sources correctly .
Extremism. We comply with Russian legislation.
Publicistic style. A scientific article is not an essay, the style of presentation should be scientific.
Alternative hypotheses. If your article goes against generally accepted scientific positions (for example, you claim that the Earth is flat), we are unlikely to publish it.
4. The article has been accepted for publication.
If everything is OK with your article, you will receive a letter in 3-4 days saying "Your article has been accepted for publication". This letter will contain a full calculation of the cost of publication . The number of author pages, the number of printed copies, and the discount are taken into account (starting with the second article, all authors receive a 20% discount).
Just below in the letter are links to different payment methods.
5. Payment for publication
There are several convenient payment methods. The most popular option is online payment by bank card. Our website accepts any Visa, Mastercard and MIR cards. Payments from foreign bank cards buy algeria telemarketing data are also carried out without problems.
You can make a payment from one of the electronic wallets: Yandex.Money, WebMoney, QIWI, etc.
And, of course, the classic option is always available - payment by bank details. You can copy the details to Sberbank.Online or visit a branch with a printed receipt.
6. Immediately after payment
Instantly, immediately after online payment, a preprint of your article will appear on the site. In fact, a preprint is an already published article. You will have a link to the page with the publication, you can send it to your supervisor or share it on social networks.
In addition, a certificate on the publisher's letterhead and a certificate of publication of the article will immediately appear in your personal account. These documents can be downloaded and printed absolutely free of charge.
If you paid at the bank using the details, you will have to wait a little while the bank processes the payment. Or send us a photo of the receipt to [email protected] .
